SKIDATA careers: from an apprenticeship to a leading position
Stefanie, team leader of a Central Technical Support Team in Salzburg, is just one of many SKIDATA managers from our own pool of candidates. After her communication technician apprenticeship at SKIDATA, she earned her high school diploma and is now completing her information technology and system management studies at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. “Thanks to the flexible work time models and internal support from SKIDATA, I was able to combine studying with working. I can already put the things I have learned to use. It is ideal – for me and for SKIDATA,” says Stefanie. Together with her team, she ensures that our parking management solutions work flawlessly and is always by our service team’s side whenever they have questions.
Leading the Quality Assurance Team – with kit and caboodle…
Combining family and her career has allowed Helga to take a management position at SKIDATA. She is the leader of the whole Quality Assurance Team in Salzburg and Klagenfurt. “I am proud to pass our SKIDATA access terminals with my kids during a weekend, whether it be in a ski area or in a spa.” The challenging and varied duties of responsibilities and the understanding for the challenges as a mother AND employee doing a good job – this is all possible with a career at SKIDATA. Together with more than 55 employees, she develops efficient product and integration tests and always sees beyond the borders of her department. That means she continuously contributes to process improvement at SKIDATA.
